Specialists in the dimensional control and setting out of curved structures and alignments to the Construction Industry. Established in 1991 to carry out all the survey and setting out for the track work in the running tunnels of the Channel Tunnel. We have since then been involved in such projects as the Jubilee line Extension, Northern Line Wriggle Survey, American Air Museum at Duxford, an award winning circular cemetery, North Greenwich station building, The Great Glasshouse at the National Botanical gardens of Wales.

All the above projects contained elements of standard survey tasks.

But with a difference

Des Brennan carries out the work or directly controls additional surveyors

so that each project is assured of the highest standards and care.

Survey stations are designed specifically for each project's accuracy

requirements, ground conditions and longevity.

The given site control is verified and additional control added.

Project specific targets and prisms are manufactured.

The latest state of the art instrumentation is employed when required.

All dimensions and coordinates are checked by plotting to AutoCad prior to

setting out and again when taking as built data.

All monitoring readings are processed in Microsoft excel.

As with the site survey the final as built survey is processed and plotted in AutoCad Land

Development Desktop and presented in any of the current forms. I.e. disc, email, paper or

negative. The standard site instruments are Leica total station, level and optical plummet

together with a laptop computer. We are fully insured. We are not required to hold either a
